The Social World Film Festival, to be held from 4 to 12 July a Vico Equense (NA), is the international social Cinema born in 2011 by Joseph Alessio Nuzzo.
The Festival, intended as a showcase and competition of titles and personalities from all over the world, held annually in the enchanting, historical and cultural landscape of the Amalfi coast.

The initiative, as well as the film festival, can and should be considered as a cultural and social aggregation, cooperation and integration experience, place of complaint and reflection: the social cinema understood as means of international communication, confrontation over that critical container, development and promotion.

The Social World Film Festival offers, as first and only exhibition dedicated to social cinema in its broadest interpretations; the Social World Film Festival has become a strong cultural and tourist attraction, adding a wealth of activities in a single articulated but simple at the same time that leverages and enhances the natural resources, historical, architectural and landscape of the area in which it takes place.
The Social World Film Festival is not only indeed cinema is not only a festival; the Social World Film Festival is an experience, a cultural and social moment, where the cinema covers Theatre, music, sports and art against the backdrop of history and nature.

The Social World Film Festival is basically a festival by young people for young people by young people:
by young people, because the Festival is organized by a team of professionals from 18 to 35 years with an average of only 24 years of age;
for young people, because the festival offers different opportunities, all free, dedicated to Italian and foreign guys;
young, because 90% of projected works are made by young people under 35.
Leading national and international cinema participating in the event, the young jurors and the public debated actively with them in a continuum of exchange of ideas throughout the program of study moments and events that accompany the Festival at the same time.

The choice of artistic works, in and out of competition, is dictated by year from adherence to a guiding theme, chosen by the festival direction, topics of discussion more and stronger impact in the social, cultural and political context Italian and worldwide.
