The Fiera degli Acciugai della Valle Mairato be held on 6-7 June 2015 in Dronero (CN), offers many events and menu with anchovies, cod, stockfish, cod, tuna in oil and sardines ... in addition to anchovy-based proposals of young chef, cakes and fresh pizzas served between the streets of borgo...il all accompanied by good local wine.

The fair comes from the tradition of Anciuìè, term in dialect Piedmont indicating the ancient local craft of acciugai, that after the holiday season, down from Alpine valleys and blue, his wagon ran various quarters seeking possible buyers of anchovies and preserved fish purchased from Liguria.

SATURDAY, JUNE 6
From 10.00 to 21.00 hours: EXHIBITION of typical products of the valleys Vielha (Via Rome, P.zza s. Sebastiano, Via Garibaldi, P.zza Martiri della Libertà, Via Saluzzo, Manuel P.zza s. Giovanni)

10.00 a.m.: photo exhibition "FotoSlow Valle Maira and the history of the craft of Acciugai" (Via Roma and boarding school)

16.30 hours: exhibition of the students of Middle School Musical Course of Dronero (at Piazza Manuel – white horse square).

17.30 hours: PRESENTATION of the BOOK "TRAVEL to VALLE MAIRA" – environment, history, culture and TRADITIONS of an ALPINE VALLEY, curated by ENRICO BERTONE EDITIONS FUSTA PUBLISHER IN PIAZZA MARTIRI DELLA LIBERTA ' (Sala Giolitti in the premises of the Bank branch of SAVIGLIANO Dronero).

18.30 hours: ribbon cutting and institutional greetings.
To follow musical moment and aperitif in music with the band s. Luigi di Saluzzo and the band of Caraglio

Hours 21.00: concert of the bands in 25° St Louis band (Piazza Martiri della Libertà)

Inside the fair AREA EQUIPPED with tables and benches are free to taste the gastronomic products of the various regions (Piazza Martiri under the driveway)

The restaurants and bars will offer themed dishes where you can taste, in absolute tranquility, exquisite appetizers and dishes.

OPENING of the MILL of the RIVIERA (hours 9.00 – 12.30/14.30 – 18.00) with special grinding corn pignoletto native to the Maira valley with tasting of paste'd melia to try corn-based. Production and tasting of flat bread and pizzas fresh from special furnaces (Saturday afternoon and Sunday).

The MAURO WINES HAS the local wine "DRÔNÉ" (Nebbiolo Dronero) last harvest, with tasting (municipal gardens underneath piazza Allemandi).

"The BIGAT" silkworm metamorphosis with live exposure of sericulture. Exhibition of wooden houses for nesting and bird feeders (under the wing of Cinema Teatro IRIS)
