The Festival "the spirit and the Earth" Fabriano (AN), which provides for events dal 20 June to 2 August 2015, aims to be a creative response available to travelers, hikers and residents; an instrument of knowledge of a territory marked, deep, the relationship between spirituality and nature.
In a territory – ideal capital of Apennine microcosm – converge and intertwine mystical and existential paths of Saints as Romualdo, Francesco and Sylvester, invoked in these lands from a nature capable of "edge of heaven".
In any corner of the world there are so many hermitages and abbeys like in this strip of land of the Apennines. Signs of a "specialty" that has become the triangle of spirit, scope of just few kilometers which saw the birth of three religious orders (Camaldolese, Saints and cappuccino), which was the backdrop for a nature with villages and towns rich in works of art and a pictorial narrative that combines precious Gothic twilight giottesque humanism of Gentile da Fabriano.
This Festival is inspired, so such ancient values from decline in the modernity of our newspapers, renewing and replicating the "magic" that Romuald and Sylvester, seal the encounter between the monastic experience of St. Benedict with the mystical and urban sociability of Saint Francis who, perhaps in Fabriano he vivify that humus and that spiritual sediment declined in a sublime synthesis through the drafting of Farrell. Experiences and paths of body, soul and mind to settle, in our lives, the memory of a land shaped to impress.
