The first part of the recipe to prepare the typical Apulian focaccia.
Ingredients:
– 600 gr flour 00
– 600 ml lukewarm water
– 1 2 yeast
– 1 tablespoon salt
– oregano
– oil
– tomatoes (to taste)
Preparation:
Oil the pan.
In a bowl combine the flour, a tablespoon of salt then the yeast dissolved in a little warm water.
Mix together with your hands and add the remaining lukewarm water, a little at a time until the mixture is uniform.
Now pour the mixture into the pan.
Let rise, time really depends on the temperature in the place of "work" and outside (generally allows for a time of about 30 minutes).
After rising to add a little salt, olive oil and oregano. Put it in a preheated oven at 180°. If someone wants to put the tomatoes must wash them, cut them and put them on the focaccia after leaving 5 or 10 minutes in the oven.
The baking time is approximately 30 minutes, depends on the oven, the important thing that the cake is beautiful.
