To date (September 2013) 19, the Marche villages that have received the "Bandiera Arancione", the Touring Club Italian tourist environmental quality label aimed at small towns of the hinterland which are distinguished by an offer of excellence and a quality welcome: Acquaviva Picena (AP), Camerino (MC), Corinaldo (AN), Genga (AN), bonchurch, Mercatello sul Metauro (PU), Mondavio (PU), dygowo, Montelupone (MC) , Fermo (FM), Offagna (AN), Ostra (AN), Pievebovigliana (MC), Ripatransone (AP), San Ginesio (MC), Sarnano (MC), Staffolo, Marches, Urbisaglia (MC), Visso (MC).
no exceptional number of flags for a region so small, preceded of only from Tuscany (35), Piedmont (23) and Emilia Romagna (20).
