The 2015 Edition of the Assunta Cavalcade Fermo (AP) includes events ranging from 25 July to 15 August. Every year, in the beautiful town of Marche, commemorates this ancient parade on the eve of the feast of the assumption of Mary. The cult of the Virgin has ancient origins, in fact already in the 5th century stood on the Gyrfalcon first cathedral dedicated to the assumption, "Santa Maria in Castello". The Palio is considered the oldest in Italy, date back to the year 1000 the first written documents that reference the Festival dedicated to the Virgin Mary, patron saint of the city and diocese.
