The medina of Hammamet is one of the most beautiful of Tunisia. The narrow alleys and lindi meander between houses from simple charm, pristine, blue doors walls sometimes decorated with simple decorations.
What to see in Hammamet?
Surely the strong (or kasbah) that occupies a corner of the Medina and is an imposing fortress that resembles distant times, when Hammamet, like so many other Tunisian coasts, cities had to constantly be on the alert against invaders.
You should also visit the coffee Sidi Bou Hadid, one of the most famous of Tunisia. Near a mausoleum offers a seafront terrace from where you can admire the sunset.
Enjoy the shops and souks that surprise for the variety of their offerings: carpets of various kinds, trinkets of all kinds, but also antique knickknacks and jewelry or superb gowns and Caftans inspired by tradition.
For those who love traditional costumes there is a museum which features beautiful wedding dresses and costumes in the region.
